Eng. Ahmed Bandarawy is a Marine Surveyor
at El Hamamsy Marine Services Ltd.

Ahmed joined the company in 2017. Before joining the team, in 2013, Ahmed had served as an Assistant Barge Engineer at Advanced Energy Systems. He has also served as an Inspection and Maintenance Engineer, responsible for lifeboats, rescue boats, davits and winches. His experience extends to having collaborated with several reputable firms, such as Beihai, Hyundai, Dongman, Schat Harding, Hatecke.

Ahmed holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture department from Alexandria University since 2012. Furthermore, he was keen on developing his professional skills and certifications where he has attended and received more than 10 trainings, courses and approvals, some of which include ‘Risk Assessment Safety’ training in 2011, Maritime Industrial Services (MIS) ‘Jack-up Rigs Building’ course at Sharjah Shipyard, UAE in 2011, ‘Navy Imperative’ course at AAST in 2012, Davit International approval for ‘Inspection of Davits and Hooks’ in 2014, Fassmer-Marland approval in China in 2015, Hatecke approval in Germany in 2016 as well as attending Brookes Bell Group course ‘An insight to Marine Surveys’ in 2017.
