Eng. Sherif Issa is a Marine Surveyor at El Hamamsy Marine Services Ltd., where he joined the company in 2023. Before joining the team, Sherif had served as a Ship Repair Engineer at the Egyptian Navy Shipyard and as a Projects Engineer at Petroleum Marine Services Co. (PMS), before that Sherif worked for Alexandria Shipyard as a Production Marine Engineer and as a Ship Co-Ordinator for mega projects at yard.

During his time with El Hamamsy, Sherif attends several kinds of vessel’s condition surveys, draft, bunker and on/off hire surveys, hull and machinery damage surveys, steel weight calculations and follow up of repair matters including assessment of repair costs, as well as damage nature, extent, and cause definitions.

Sherif holds a bachelor’s degree in marine engineering and Naval Architecture department from Alexandria University since 2015. Later after graduation, he attended STCW basic safety and security awareness training, Nondestructive Testing (NDT) training and “Safety, Occupational Health and Preservation of the Environment” OSHA General Training.
