Eng. Marawan Montaser is a Senior Marine Surveyor at El Hamamsy Marine Services Ltd., who joined the company in 2024. Before joining the team, Eng. Montaser started his maritime career in shipyards as a shipbuilding site engineer at Dubai Shipbuilding & Engineering Co. – UAE and later in 2015 as a Ship Repair Department Manager in Heavy Engineering Industries & Shipbuilding Co. - Kuwait.

During his time with El Hamamsy, Marawan attends several kinds of vessel’s condition surveys, draft, bunker and on/off hire surveys, hull and machinery damage surveys, steel weight calculations and follow up of repair matters including assessment of repair costs, as well as damage nature, extent, and cause definitions.

Marawan holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture department from Alexandria University since 2010. In the same year, he attended an NDT (UT) level II and NDT (RT) level II training, and in 2018 a Dry Docking Management course.
