Eng. Ahmed Elshafeay is a Marine Surveyor at El Hamamsy Marine Services Ltd., which he joined in 2025. Prior to becoming part of the El Hamamsy team, Ahmed gained substantial experience in both the mechanical and marine fields. He previously served as a Mechanical Engineer in the Maintenance Department at O Trac Company for Heavy Equipment (Daewoo Agent). He also worked as a Marine Surveyor at the International Surveying Center (ISC), where he conducted a wide range of surveys and inspections, including Hull & Machinery surveys, petroleum product inspections, and various cargo inspections.

Ahmed holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture from Alexandria University (Class of 2003). Following his graduation, he completed several essential maritime safety and emergency courses at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport (AASTMT), including:
• Fire Prevention and Firefighting
• Personal Safety and Social Responsibility
• Personal Survival Techniques
• Search and Rescue
